Our Story

How Porch Believers Began

Porch Believers was not born from a desire to build an organization.

It began with a growing conviction that biblical discipleship has become increasingly rare. Many believers faithfully attend church each week, yet long for someone to simply open God’s Word with them, walk beside them, and help them grow in Christ.

The image of a porch captured that longing.

For generations, porches were places where families gathered, wisdom was shared, stories were told, and faith was passed from one generation to the next. They were places where people slowed down long enough to invest in one another.

Porch Believers exists to reclaim that spirit—not by returning to a physical porch, but by returning to biblical discipleship.

Our desire is simple:

To invite people to Christ, help them become rooted in God’s Word, encourage them to grow alongside other believers, and equip them to make disciples wherever God leads.

If Porch Believers is remembered, let it not be because we built a great organization, but because God used it to help people build their lives upon Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

We envision a growing family of disciples who pursue God daily, grow together through biblical relationships, discover God’s calling for their lives, and faithfully help others follow Jesus Christ.

We envision stronger believers.

Stronger families.

Stronger churches.

Stronger communities.

We envision believers gathering around God’s Word in homes, churches, coffee shops, workplaces, and porches around the world.

We envision disciples making disciples across generations until Christ returns.

Porch Saying

“A Porch Believer is someone who has found a seat at God’s porch, continues to learn from His Word, and always leaves another chair open for the next person.”
